A week after her college graduation, Wendy came home to a knife-wielding intruder who spent an hour physically and sexually abusing her. Wendy openly shares the fear and darkness that plagued her for many years after the attack. She also shares the amazing transforming power of God's love that was able to heal her when she fully trusted in Jesus. I would recommend this book for victims and the people who love them.

Ever wonder "what did Jesus say"? This book will tell you. It is very easy to research, read and reference in this book. There are so many ways to look up the answers you seek. Search by subject, by scripture or just read to learn more about your Savior. This is one you will want to keep and go back to time and time again.

The Feminine Soul
The Feminine Soul- Surprising Ways the Bible Speaks to Women by Janet Davis
I love this book and highly recommend it! Janet Davis chose twelve women from the Bible and dedicates one chapter to each of the women. She goes into detail for each woman and her interactions with Jesus or others around her. There are so many times that I say out loud "that is me" or "I feel like that". As women, we tend to put our needs and desires on the back burner. We tend to look at the Bible through the eyes of a human (or man) rather than a woman. Janet Davis shows that God gave women certain gifts for specific reasons and instead of ignoring them we need to embrace them and use them. The questions at the end of each chapter help to explore deeper and make it more personal for the reader. Every woman needs this one!
